File extension mod information
Files with extension MOD, are audio files associated with the application Amiga and PC Tracker Module. MOD is basically a file format used in computers to represent music primarily. It was the original file format for modules and the MOD file consists of sets of instruments formed into samples, various patterns when and how to play the samples and a list indicating the order in which to play the patterns. Most programs for audio tracking are capable of recognizing this music format which cab be created by Noise Tracker and Fast Tracker, etc.
